This English centre-back is an impenetrable wall, capable of running down any striker with blistering speed and surgical sliding tackles. Nicknamed the phantom for his unnerving composure, he once spent an entire pre-match warm-up juggling an orange before shutting out the league's top scorers without breaking a sweat.
