The Lab pools every game we’ve stored — not just the top 500 clubs. It’s the widest possible read on how the whole GOALS playerbase plays: the most common formations and tactics across the entire pool — by share of matches and of clubs — with the win rate behind each.

The Lab spans every tracked club and match — no cohort filter. “Of matches” counts every game played in the window; “of clubs” counts each club once, under its most-used pick. Win rate is over decided games and goals are per-match averages. Scores/concedes leaders consider only formations with at least 20 matches in the window. The whole pool is re-crunched once a week, on Monday mornings UTC.
