Luis Melgarejo

This fiery Paraguayan maestro dances through defenses with supernatural close control and lightning-quick feet, though he occasionally forgets where the goal actually is. Before every kickoff, he insists on loudly reciting poetry to a specific lucky blade of stadium grass, leaving his bewildered teammates to awkwardly shuffle away. He remains a brilliant, if erratic, creator who possesses the audacity to shoot from distance despite his shaky composure in front of the net.
