Yara Schellekens

This Dutch full-back is a pure force of nature, whose uncompromising style is dominated by a leap that sees her hanging in the air like a basketball player. She still remembers when she was sent off as a junior for accidentally heading the ball with such violence that it burst mid-air while an opponent tried to control it. Despite her outstanding physical dominance, her sometimes irrational aggression can leave her blind to tactical cues during defensive one-on-ones.
