Margit Åkerman

Towering and explosive, this Swedish wing-back overcomes the memory of childhood bone brittle syndrome by dominating the pitch with relentless speed and a physical presence that belies her humble nature. While her defensive decision-making can occasionally lapse, her elite aerial dominance and crushing tackles make her an insurmountable force in the flank. She runs every blade of grass with quiet intensity, proving that true power is built in the shadows of past struggles.
