Elane Cavalcanti

This Brazilian center-back pairs a friendly smile with an intuitive gift for anticipating and shutting down any attacking threat. Her elite defensive IQ makes her an absolute wall, though she can occasionally be exposed by high-speed attackers in footraces over long distances. Her fierce intensity in individual duels ensures that if the ball reaches her zone, it is rarely going any further.
