Felipe Escalona

This Venezuelan defensive midfielder is a tireless force who covers every blade of grass with an aggressive style that consistently stifles opposing build-ups. While his stand tackles can occasionally falter, he compensates with elite verticality and defensive IQ that allows him to dominate aerial duels. Legend has it that back home, he once chased down a runaway herd of cattle during training and managed to stop them all with a single, perfectly timed slide tackle.
