Ihsan Fadel

This friendly Iraqi center-back dominates with surgical slide tackles and an elite defensive mind, even if he sometimes lacks a bit of necessary grit in heated duels. To stay focused, he insists on drawing an elaborate chessboard pattern in the turf with his boots before kickoff, a ritual his teammates greet with amused shakes of their heads. Combining blistering acceleration with wall-like precision, he effortlessly neutralizes attackers before returning to his calm and smiling demeanor.
