Kauane Falcão

This Brazilian center-back dominates the box with frightening athletic explosiveness and lightning-fast reflexes, though her lack of tactical reading occasionally leaves her vulnerable. Before every match, she insists on stuffing a shredded hair tie into her left sock, a ritual that leaves her teammates somewhere between laughter and utter bewilderment. Her fierce competitive edge more than compensates for a physical frame that sometimes struggles to hold off the sturdiest strikers.
