Paula Harvey

This Australian powerhouse dominates the defensive midfield with a strength and intensity that terrorizes any attacker daring to cross her path. She is a near-impenetrable wall who thrives in physical duels, even if her burning aggression occasionally leads to erratic lapses in simple passing. Legend has it that as a youth player, after an opponent kept tugging at her jersey, she simply hoisted the girl up and carried her like a backpack all the way to the referee.
