Maguy Leclere

Towering and remarkably humble, this French wall reads the game with frightening precision and shuts down attackers with relentless physicality, though her occasional mistimed slide tackle provides the only break in her defensive dominance. Before every match, she obsessively balances a single sprig of dried lavender on her forehead for three minutes to channel zen, a quirky ritual that leaves her teammates both baffled and endearingly amused. With lightning speed and elite aerial presence, she is an unflappable force of nature on the pitch.
