Fatima Madureira

After overcoming a bizarre thigh injury caused by a collision with a wandering goat, this Brazilian powerhouse transformed her pain into a relentless athleticism that makes her impossible to get past. Her explosive speed and gravity-defying leap make her a defensive wall, even if her tendency for needless aggression sometimes lands the team in hot water. She dominates the pitch with an assertive authority that leaves no room for opposing strikers.
