Marcela Morales

This fiery Costa Rican defensive powerhouse dominates the midfield with elite interceptions and an unmatched vertical leap, though she famously struggles to connect her headers. To center herself, she insists on braiding a single stalk of dried grass into her laces before kickoff, a quirky ritual that leaves her teammates both baffled and terrified of her focus. Her unrelenting aggression and masterful jockeying ensure that opponents rarely make it past her perimeter.
