Elba Obando

Towering over attackers with an effortless stride, this Nicaraguan defensive force combines crushing strength with surprising burst to dismantle plays before they start. She remains famously friendly off the pitch, despite once being sent off for accidentally tackling the referee during a celebratory post-match piggyback race. Her only weakness is a tendency to mistime her aerial headers when she gets too distracted by her own excitement.
