Dayana Ortega

This friendly Uruguayan midfielder dominates the pitch with explosive aggression and surgical precision in every tackle, even if her heading ability often leaves much to be desired. She always warms up by braiding blades of grass into exactly three knots, an eccentric ritual that leaves her teammates as bewildered as her opponents are terrified. With relentless stamina, she dictates the defensive line like a conductor with an iron fist.
