Tilde Riis

With icy authority, this Danish defensive midfielder commands the pitch by reading the game and shutting down attacks with surgical precision. Her exceptional acceleration and tactical brilliance keep her a step ahead, even though her glaring weakness in the air leaves her exposed on headers. When she steps into a challenge, she does so with a relentless intensity that suffocates the opposition’s hopes.
