Monica Rodríguez

This humble Argentine force blurs past defenders with lethal speed and a touch as soft as velvet, though her wobbling balance can occasionally send her sprawling in the grass. She famously once bypassed an entire defense by juggling the ball over her head while barefoot during a village kickabout, only to apologize profusely to the goalie for scoring. On the pitch, she operates with a clinical, quiet brilliance that lets her goals speak for her.
