Emre Roelofs

With lightning-fast speed and an almost frightening level of aggression, this Dutch defender completely shuts down his flank, even if his poor blocking ability can occasionally leave the team exposed. A man of few words, he still remembers the day as a teenager in a chaotic Amsterdam street match when he refused to let go of an opponent until he had literally ripped the jersey off the boy’s back. Despite his immense physical strength, his lack of discipline in blocking shots can sometimes reveal a crack in an otherwise brilliant defensive arsenal.
