Aqeela Salman

This dominant Bahraini enforcer rules the midfield with an arrogant swagger and a vertical leap that makes opponents look tiny. After a freak lawnmower accident shattered her forearm early in her career, she channelled that pain into a relentless aggression that renders her impossible to move off the ball. While her precise stand tackles can be strangely lackadaisical, her sheer force of nature remains the absolute gold standard.
