Bertus Teeuwen

This Dutch center-back is a relentless force, combining fierce aggression with flawless reading of the game that suffocates any attack. To maintain focus, he insists on balancing a perfectly vertical banana on his forehead in the dressing room, a bizarre sight that makes his teammates just shake their heads while trying to get ready. While his defensive positioning is brilliant, his aggressive stubbornness occasionally leads him into reckless fouls when frustration gets the better of him.
