This Uruguayan wall defies gravity with lightning-quick reflexes, though he sometimes fumbles routine clearances under minimal pressure. Before every whistle, he insists on balancing a single unpeeled banana on the crossbar for good luck, a quirky habit his teammates tolerate with amused head-shaking. His command of the penalty area remains legendary, even if his glove-work occasionally keeps everyone’s heart rates unnecessarily high.
