Karim Tromp

This Dutch dynamo blends electric pace with clinical finishing, though his sometimes erratic dribbling speed can leave him slightly overextended. After a bizarre freak accident involving a lawnmower nearly severed his big toe, he channelled that setback into an obsessive pursuit of perfection that made his penalty taking practically flawless. He dominates the box with gravity-defying headers and an unrelenting engine that keeps defenders on edge until the final whistle.
