Selamawit Tsegaye

Having overcome a childhood where she had to learn to play barefoot on jagged rocks, this Ethiopian midfielder combines electrifying speed with a ferocious aggression that intimidates any rival. Her imposing physical presence allows her to tirelessly command the center of the pitch, even if her first touch occasionally fails to keep pace with her frenetic rhythm. She is a charismatic leader whose unyielding drive was born from those scars on her feet, making her an unstoppable force on the grass.
