Stela Valjak

Despite a childhood marked by the accidental loss of all her ballet shoes, this Croatian creator channeled her need for balance to become a master of the ball, whose tight dribbling and exceptional agility make opposing defenses dance. While her acceleration can sometimes be sluggish, her fearsome shot power and friendly demeanor hide an unshakeable drive. She turns every pitch into a stage, compensating for her lack of explosive start with a technique that is as silky as it is unpredictable.
