Hanae Wada

This Japanese midfield maestro combines blistering pace and world-class heading ability with a friendly charm that famously saw her accidentally knock over a goalpost while sprinting to celebrate a goal. While she effortlessly glides past defenders with explosive first touches, her tendency to run out of steam late in the match makes her a volatile presence. She dominates the air with surprising ferocity, even if her stamina often leaves her struggling to keep that frantic tempo for ninety minutes.
