Gotthard Wolter

This friendly German defensive midfielder hides a tank-like tenacity, using explosive verticality and blistering pace to suffocate opposing attacks. After recovering from a freak upper arm fracture sustained during a chaotic acrobatics class, he channeled that frustration into building an indomitable physique that dominates the center of the pitch. While his slide tackling occasionally lacks conviction, his relentless stamina and predatory interceptions make him an omnipresent defensive wall.
