Marti de Dios

This assertive Spanish predator combines a silk-smooth first touch with thunderous shot power, making him a nightmare for defenders even if he remains useless in the air. He famously demands to tie his teammates' left shoelaces before every kick-off to 'ground his team's energy,' leaving the squad rolling their eyes while they desperately avoid his path in the locker room. His electrifying pace and clinical finishing ensure that while he is an eccentric pain, he remains absolutely essential.
