Lorraine van Wyk

Standing tall with a powerful frame, she is a defensive lightning bolt capable of sprinting across the pitch to deliver crunching tackles without a moment’s hesitation. Her aggressive spirit is legendary, reminiscent of a childhood match in Johannesburg where she convinced the ref to let play continue after a massive tackle, only to hunt down the ball and regain possession moments later. While she is an unstoppable force in slide tackles and aerial duels, her tendency to rely on raw speed occasionally exposes a slight weakness in her tactical jockeying discipline.
