Jean-Jacques Leclercq

This Belgian guardian is a spring-loaded reflex machine capable of defying physics with miraculous dives, though his occasional lapses in commanding the penalty area can keep everyone on edge. Before kickoff, he insists on wearing two different colored socks and burying a single raw onion in his kit bag to ward off bad luck, a bizarre ritual that has his bewildered teammates keeping their distance until the final whistle. His fiery demeanor drives his relentless shot-stopping, ensuring that he remains an imposing, if eccentric, wall between the sticks.
