Rigo Duarte

Dominant in the air and ruthless on the ground, this Mexican defensive midfielder combines explosive speed with a ferocious drive. After overcoming a severe hip injury sustained from a horse-riding accident, he turned his recovery into a core of iron-clad discipline that made him even stronger. Although his positional awareness can occasionally falter against rapid passing sequences, his athletic aggression makes him an almost impenetrable wall.
