Mairame Mergane

After spending her childhood terrified of shadows after dark, this Senegalese powerhouse channeled that fear into blinding speed and an impenetrable aerial game that strikers dread. Her humble demeanor masks a lethal defensive instinct, though her aggressive closing style sometimes makes her slightly prone to reckless mistimed challenges. She dominates the backline with an endless motor and pace that effectively renders the pitch too small for the opposition.
