Marie Whelan

A towering Irish force, she commands her area with cat-like reflexes and an assertive presence that defies most strikers. To stay focused, she meticulously arranges her water bottle in a perfectly straight line relative to the goalpost, a peculiar ritual that leaves her teammates perpetually baffled yet grateful for her impenetrable net. Despite her occasional lapses in positioning, her acrobatic diving and brute strength make her an elite wall in front of the goal.
