Evelia Renteria

This flamboyant Mexican full-back combines explosive pace with a physical presence that dominates the air, though her sliding tackles occasionally leave something to be desired. She prepares for every match by carefully arranging her shin guards into a perfect heart pattern on the locker room floor, a bizarre superstition that leaves her teammates shaking their heads in amusement before she storms the pitch. Her tireless stamina makes her a living wall that refuses to give up an inch of grass.
