Merve Heidenreich

After shattering her humerus in a freak arm-wrestling accident, this German winger transformed her agonizing recovery into a relentless drive that turned her into a blur of pure speed on the flank. Her sublime balance and close control make her untouchable, though she notoriously frustrates teammates by ignoring clever skill moves in favor of straight-line sprints. She remains the calmest presence on the pitch, even if her erratic finishing often leaves promising attacks lacking that final polish.
