Charles Almeida

After overcoming a complex shoulder injury that threatened his career, this reserved Portuguese center-back returned more driven than ever, using his towering stature and surgical defensive intelligence to snuff out every attack. He is an elite master of the slide tackle and block, though he occasionally displays nerves when tasked with playing out from the back under pressure. His physical resilience and relentless mentality make him an immovable force in the heart of the defense.
