Joao Fernandes

This powerhouse Luxembourger patrols the midfield like an immovable fortress, famously once clearing a stubborn loose ball with an acrobatic leap so high it briefly blocked out the stadium floodlights. His aerial dominance and relentless engine make him a nightmare for attackers, though he admittedly struggles to shift into high gear during the opening yards of a sprint. He remains the ultimate engine room protector, combining ruthless physicality with an uncompromising defensive intuition.
