Djeneba Konta

This Malian center-back dominates the penalty area with a towering presence and a defensive IQ that snuffs out danger before it even develops. Her supersonic speed and raw power make every physical duel an exercise in futility for strikers, though her aggressive instinct occasionally leads to some clumsy sliding challenges. She remains humbly amused when recounting how she once accidentally burst clean through a wooden shed wall in Bamako while attempting a goal-saving block as a child.
