Alvin Palmer

With lightning-fast reflexes and a commanding presence, this American goalkeeper dictates play like a general, despite a stubborn tendency to remain glued to his goal line that occasionally frustrates his defenders. To find his focus, he insists on braiding blades of grass into tiny knots before kickoff, an eccentric ritual that leaves his teammates both amused and baffled. His elite athleticism makes him virtually unbeatable, provided you can stomach his bizarre pre-match superstition.
