Edmunds Kalnins

The humble Latvian defender uses his imposing 191cm frame to dominate the pitch, pairing ferocious aggression with surgical slide tackles that disarm any opponent. His aerial presence is practically insurmountable, though he occasionally struggles against extremely technical attackers in tight spaces. He is an unshakable wall who reads the game with elite intelligence and maintains an inexhaustible work rate for the full ninety minutes.
