Melanie Nelson

Towering over the flank with a sprinter's explosiveness, this reserved New Zealander dominates opponents, once famously dismantling a team bus side mirror with a mistimed practice header. While her aerial prowess and blistering pace make her an elite wall, she remains plagued by the occasional reckless challenge that keeps every striker on edge. Her quiet demeanor belies a ferocious, uncompromising physicality that anchors the entire backline.
