Elena Duarte

Standing tall at 187cm, this reserved defensive wall uses her unmatched football intelligence and precise jockeying to dismantle attacks, even if her struggles with heading are notorious. Having been laughed off the pitch as a child for being unable to jump, she turned that humiliation into an unrelenting drive to master positioning and interceptions. She may lack top-end speed, but her tireless engine ensures she remains an impassable force for ninety minutes.
