Luz Saldaña

This Panamanian center-forward commands the pitch with sublime technical skill and devastating shot power, though she lacks a clinical edge when staring down the goal. To channel her intense focus, she insists on hand-sewing a loose button on her jersey before every kick-off, a ritual that leaves her bewildered teammates shaking their heads. Her assertive playing style makes her a physical force to be reckoned with, keeping her at the center of every attacking move despite her occasional struggles with finishing.
