Ranko Mihalj

With unmatchable arrogance and a gravity-defying leap, this Croatian midfield general turns every tackle into a personal insult to the opponent. He still recalls when he was a junior player and literally shoved a referee aside simply because he was desperate to chase down a ball he had lost. While his defensive awareness occasionally wavers when his temper flares, his explosive pace and brutal tackling force make him an absolute nightmare to play against.
