Teddy Groth

This Danish centre-back commands the backline with flamboyant flair and a tactical intelligence that leaves opposing strikers completely stranded. He still recalls the time he arrived at a youth final in a gold-trimmed suit, before shutting down the opposition so convincingly they asked for his autograph after the whistle. Despite his lightning-fast instincts, he has the irritating habit of ignoring simple clearances to attempt flashy dribbles while under pressure near his own goal.
