Dawood Alwan

A whirlwind of explosive pace and fearless physicality, this Iraqi engine roars through the midfield with a velvet touch and a ruthless aerial game, despite occasionally overcommitting his aggression. He remains famously focused by whispering ancient incantations to his lucky jar of pickled turnips before kickoff, a bizarre ritual that leaves his teammates both confused and slightly hungry. Though his composure on the ball is world-class, his penchant for snack-related voodoo makes him the most colorful presence in the dressing room.
