As a Uruguayan shot-stopper, he frustrates opponents with superhuman reflexes and daring dives. After spending his youth terrified of thunderstorms, he channeled that childhood fear into the ice-cold resolve he now carries between the posts. While he sometimes struggles to command his area with authority, his explosive agility more than compensates for any occasional positional lapses.
