With the explosiveness of a sprinter and the unrelenting force of a tank, this friendly Englishman tears up the flank, even if he occasionally gets lost in the air. He once tried to carry an opposing striker, kit and all, halfway across the pitch during an overzealous slide tackle in his youth. His defensive IQ may still be a work in progress, but what he lacks in tactical finesse, he makes up for with raw physical dominance and a ferocious appetite for tackles.
