Aldona Mazurek

This Polish powerhouse obliterates defensive lines with blistering speed and an instinctive attacking IQ, though her lack of flair keeps her feet firmly planted in efficient brutality. Before kickoff, she insists on braiding a single strand of garlic into her teammate’s shoelaces to ward off bad luck, a bizarre ritual that leaves the locker room equal parts baffled and begrudgingly impressed. When she strikes from distance, she brings a lethal precision that renders her limited bag of tricks completely irrelevant.
