Cheickna Konate

With his flamboyant style, this Malian defensive midfielder dominates the pitch using tireless stamina and an imposing physical presence. After a bizarre piano-crushing accident left his toe mangled, he transformed his grueling recovery into an unyielding drive that propelled his game to new heights. While his defensive IQ can occasionally lapse into carelessness, he more than makes up for it with explosive, game-altering interventions that define his absolute authority.
