Marino Armendariz

This Mexican goalkeeper brings an absolute calmness to the pitch, supported by cat-like reflexes and an acrobatic diving ability that defies logic. After a career-threatening forearm injury, he channeled that pain into an obsessive drive to command his box, though his occasionally shaky catching technique can hinder his otherwise fluid style. He now stands as a serene wall, even if he still struggles to cling onto the ball under heavy pressure.
